Accompanied by the roaring commentary of some square-faced announcer hired from who knew where, Tony Stark drove his red sports car back beside Bumblebee with a face as black as thunder.
He swore that once this race was over, he would make that bastard commentator lose his job! No—he would make the bastard go commentate kindergarten crawling competitions!
"Get ready."
Lee stuck his head out the window and said with a smile, then restarted Bumblebee.
Pandora automatically began a three-two-one countdown. When it ended, Bumblebee once again played "Pacific Rim," then shot forward amid the roar of its engine and blazing exhaust flames.
Tony Stark started his car and followed after it.
But unsurprisingly, by the time the race ended, he had already been left N laps behind.
After all, Lee Stein dared to use rocket boosters, while he did not. If he turned those on, he would probably shoot straight into the spectator stands before even Jarvis had time to take over the car.
