"Sir, these are the preliminary design plans. Is there anything else you'd like to add?"
Before long, Pandora produced a 3D model based on Skull Island and transmitted it to the Project Armor.
"That's about it. Let's leave it at that for now."
Li Si reviewed it and finally nodded.
He had actually discussed the base with Pandora many times before. All Pandora had done now was consolidate those scattered ideas and turn them into a three-dimensional blueprint, so the plans were already quite complete.
It was called a base, but the blueprint actually resembled S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Helicarrier more. From the very beginning, it had been designed as a floating island.
Skull Island had a natural inverted-cone structure. Not much construction was planned for the island's surface—only a machining plant, semi-concealed missile silos, a satellite launch center, and a few other buildings. The goal was to preserve Skull Island's primitive ecosystem as much as possible, so it could later serve as a testing ground for biological research.
A large section of the island's interior, meanwhile, would need to be hollowed out to house the large Arc Reactor supplying power, a large wireless power transmission station, supercomputer arrays, research centers, and so on.
Other than that, the rest was basically devoted to mobility and defense.
Although there was a spatial barrier, it was something they had yet to fully understand and couldn't rely on as their main defense. Therefore, a complete ring of electromagnetic deflection field generators capable of covering the entire island, along with several rapid-fire gun emplacements, had been planned around the island's perimeter to defend against long-range firepower.
There were two types of propulsion. One was surface movement like a ship's; there was no real cutting-edge technology involved there, just multiple large turbine thrusters installed around all four
