A white SUV pulled up at the entrance, and Li Si pushed open the driver's door and stepped out.
Fang Yuan's laboratory was not some high-end Underground Laboratory, but located inside this office building. So after receiving the call, Li Si had hurried straight over.
"Twenty-first floor..."
After studying the address Fang Yuan had sent him, Li Si took the elevator upstairs.
However, after wandering around the twenty-first floor for a while, he unfortunately discovered that he was lost.
Though it was clearly only one floor of an office building, at least five or six companies had offices there. Two of them were even completely empty—who knew whether they had just moved out, or whether they were shell companies whose bosses had already skipped town.
The corridors were a complete mess as well. Li Si wandered around several more times but still could not find the "Liu Biopharmaceuticals, Twenty-First Floor, Nine Confluence Building" that Fang Yuan had sent him. In the end, he had walked around so much that he could no longer even tell where the elevator was.
With no other choice, Li Si called Fang Yuan again, only to be greeted by an utterly frustrating busy tone—no answer.
"It's you, Speed-over-Ten-Thousand god!"
Just as Li Si was wondering whether to ask for directions at the nearby company that seemed to have quite a few people, a delighted cry rang out. A man in a plaid shirt quickly rose from the glass-partitioned office area beside him and came out.
"It's you, bootli—"
Li Si turned to look and nearly blurted out the words "bootlicker." Fortunately, his reaction was quick enough, and he cut himself off halfway.
