"I'll go check on the doctors first. I'll wait for you to get off work."
After arranging the Players' quest interface, Lee bid Gwen farewell and took the elevator leisurely up to the top-floor laboratory.
"Lee!"
"Mr. Lee Stein!"
Max, Otto Gunther, and the others were all there. When they saw Lee, they greeted him one after another. Curt Connors and Dr. Sterns, in particular, seemed like children eager to show off new toys. They excitedly dragged Lee toward one of the laboratories.
"Dr. Connors, Dr. Sterns, could you slow down? What have you two come up with this time?"
Lee was helplessly dragged along by the pair. Their impatient behavior gave him quite a headache.
"Lee, Life Leap Technology—your Life Leap Technology."
Dr. Sterns excitedly removed a test tube filled with translucent liquid from an instrument and shoved it into Lee's hand.
"Life Leap? Wasn't that already perfected?"
Lee looked at the translucent test tube in his hand, somewhat confused.
Life Leap Technology had been developed long ago from Richard Parker's genetic research materials. Its primary purpose was to combine the superior dominant genes of similar species to create the most perfect individual of a race. Little Hulk was, in a sense, a beneficiary of this technology; both his intelligence and physical abilities had reached the normal limits of canines.
"Dr. Sterns dragged us into obtaining Kingpin's and Bullseye's genes ahead of schedule."
Curt Connors explained with a wry smile. He was clearly somewhat helpless when it came to his colleague Dr. Sterns, whose thirst for knowledge had reached an extreme.
"Kingpin and Bullseye? What can this serum do now?"
Lee laughed when he heard that. No wonder these shut-ins, who normally would not even go out for a happy ending, had gone out of their way to provoke
