"Let's go out for a walk."
Because the passive ability Desire of Disorder had appeared, Lee Stein had been feeling somewhat stifled. He decided to go out and clear his head, donned Project Armor, and flew straight out through the open roof.
He shot into the sky, circling above New York several times. Only after the rush of speed had invigorated his body did the pent-up frustration in his chest finally dissipate.
"Hm? What's got everyone so worked up?"
On his way back to Stein Tower, Lee Stein passed Osir Tower and suddenly noticed a sizable crowd gathered below.
Osir Tower was where he had first made his name, so his interest was inevitably piqued. He guided the armor down toward it.
"Lee Stein! Lee Stein is here!"
"Great, the Mechanic is here!"
"Lee Stein, save him!"
At the sight of Lee Stein's arrival, the crowd beneath Osir Tower immediately erupted in cheers.
Hearing someone call him a Mechanic, Lee Stein's face darkened. His brow twitched, but he barely managed to hold himself back as he assessed the situation.
It was easy enough to tell what was happening. Someone appeared to be threatening to jump. A figure sat on the rooftop edge of Osir Tower, while below, curious passersby had gathered and police officers were putting up a cordon and safety net.
Once he understood the situation, Lee Stein halted his descent, rose back into the air, and flew up to the roof of Osir Tower.
Thud!
His hard metal feet landed on the concrete rooftop with a faint sound.
"Don't come any closer! If you do, I'll really jump!"
The moment he landed, a bespectacled young man sitting at the roof's edge shouted agitatedly.
"Mr. Lee Stein, don't provoke him."
A man in a suit stood some distance away.
