Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh~
The Ion Thrusters stirred up faint gusts.
After leaving the laboratory, the Medium Assault Armor did not fly away. Instead, it hovered silently in midair, churning up waves of air.
Before long, another skylight elsewhere in the base below slowly opened, and a small, pitch-black warship gradually rose amid the surging airflow.
Rather than taking on the gaudy appearance of the Chitauri or Taotie, the warship was only around a hundred meters long. With its black paint job and sleek, spindle-shaped profile, it was suited for both space combat and atmospheric operations.
Four Ion Thrusters sat along the underside flanks of the warship, while its tail was a polygonal flat surface fitted with six thrusters of varying sizes.
Other than that, its exterior was nothing but cannon barrels, cannon barrels, and more cannon barrels!
Lee had positioned the Calamity Demon God's warship form as a nimble small warship built for hit-and-run engagements, emphasizing mobility and immediate fire coverage. It had no side-mounted firepower whatsoever; every barrel faced forward, clustered around the central plasma main cannon to form the pointed tip of the spindle.
Either turn around and run, or unleash all its firepower in an instant for a barrage-style saturation attack. If that did not kill the enemy, keep running, then turn back and fire another surprise shot... Well, that was basically the design philosophy.
Of course, that was only its outward appearance. The Multi-Function Combat Platform had always been a collection of all his mechanical technologies, and as an expanded attachment for it, the Calamity Demon God was naturally no exception.
It was equipped with the Taotie's light-energy barrier technology, short-range spatial jump technology, his own electromagnetic deflection field, as well as the anti-gravity hovering technology possessed by both the Chitauri and Taotie. Its defensive and
