Having successfully reached a partnership with the Disaster Association, Li Si handed much of the technical data over to Luna, while he immersed himself in a top-tier biological laboratory provided by the Disaster Association.
At the end of the day, the Disaster Association was merely a group of ordinary people. At most, they could provide support. Even with his advanced technology, they could only deal with the Hound Organization for the time being. Li Si held no hope that they could help contend against the Astral Wanderers. Ultimately, he could only rely on himself.
"The embryos have initially stabilized. Vis, begin injecting Potent Growth Hormone..."
A week later, inside the biological laboratory.
At the center of the fully enclosed laboratory stood seven massive glass cylinders. Each was filled with pale green liquid, still as a dead lake, and within them, human embryos could faintly be seen curled up and floating.
"Potent Growth Hormone injection underway..."
"All vital signs normal..."
"Cell division and differentiation rates are steadily increasing..."
"Metabolic rate increasing... Body temperature too high. Stop injection."
Having taken control of all the laboratory equipment, Vis carried out its tasks in an orderly manner. Its voice was cold and devoid of emotion, even somewhat rigid and mechanical.
Yet that rigidity was precisely what made it reliable. Science required data and precision. A perfect executor was more suitable than any assistant.
"Set this injection as the standard dosage. Increase the dosage by ten percent every three days. Monitor vital signs at all times and report any abnormalities."
Li Si was hunched over an instrument, working on something without lifting his head. He merely gave the order in a low voice.
Days passed. Under the effects of the Potent Growth Hormone, the embryos in the seven incubation chambers grew at a tremendous pace.
