Because the battleships needed repairs and the drones were still being deployed, the two sides had remained locked in a stalemate for an hour.

Over that hour, Zerg warships continued streaming through the wormhole without end.

"Fi—" Before Tang Shizhe could finish, everyone's attention was seized by what appeared on the screens before them.

Dozens of long, slender claws suddenly emerged from the relatively small wormhole. They gripped the edges of the wormhole, seemingly trying to tear apart the biological tissue enclosing it.

Then, supported by those claws, an unknown mushroom-like object slowly poked out of the wormhole. Its surface was translucent, while yellow light pulsed within it like a beating heart.

Just as Tang Shizhe assumed this thing was some new unit of the Zerg fleet, the mushroom-like object suddenly opened up, instantly forcing apart the ring maintaining the wormhole.

Then, as though it were supplying energy to the wormhole, vast amounts of yellow light flowed into the white-glowing wormhole like a stream.

A few dozen seconds later, the wormhole instantly doubled in size. As the mushroom-like object continued pulsing, the wormhole began expanding without pause.

Amid Tang Shizhe's speechless shock, a creature whose appearance somewhat resembled his Andromeda poked its head out from the enlarged wormhole.

Somewhat resembled was all it did, however. The differences were still enormous. Their overall shapes and sizes were very similar, but this creature's shell was made up of black spikes that slanted upward like hairs.

Those spikes covered the creature's entire body like scales!

Its lower half resembled an opened-up Andromeda. Four long, crab-like legs slowly extended from the wormhole, while countless slender black claws—the same kind that had just emerged from the wormhole—covered its body.
