The four followed the elder through the corridor and entered another testing ground.
For the beast-fighting assessment, speed assessment, and strength assessment, Yun Jingheng accompanied them the entire time without saying a word. He simply stood at the edge of the grounds and watched the four Zero Class students take their tests one by one.
Every proctor who saw Yun Jingheng froze for a moment, then their expressions became subtle.
Some nodded to him. Some pretended not to see him while scribbling furiously with their pens. Others walked straight up to him to report the assessment results.
Yun Jingheng merely nodded at each one.
"Good work."
"The records are very detailed."
"Continue."
The teachers left as though a burden had been lifted from them, their backs noticeably straighter than usual.
Ye Xinglan stood beside him with a blank expression, but the corner of her mouth kept twitching.
Shen Yi stood on the other side with her head lowered, her shoulders trembling the entire time.

Cai Yue'er stood by the entrance, holding a roster as she spoke with several teachers.
She looked up and saw the group approaching from the far end of the corridor. The elder walked in front, followed by the four Zero Class students, then Yun Jingheng, Ye Xinglan, and Shen Yi.
Cai Yue'er frowned.
She waited until they approached, then walked up to Yun Jingheng, folded her arms, and stared him down.
"Why hadn't I heard that the Sea God Pavilion had arranged a secret assessment?"
Yun Jingheng's face did not redden, nor did his heart skip a beat.
"I said it was a secret inspection. Naturally, the chief examiner couldn't be allowed to know about it."
Cai Yue'er stared at him, and he stared back at her.
They locked eyes for three
