Before Qi Tian descended into the world, the three of them had each fought with all their might. But that had been before. After awakening their bloodline talents, the Gold Soul Clan members had grown another level stronger when they transformed into their Golden Buddha Forms.

So Qi Tian wanted to see how strong they were now, and take the opportunity to test his own strength as well.

Of course, he wouldn't use his full strength. Since all three of them had nine six-sided golden crystals in their dantians, that meant they were at a specific level of power.

Qi Tianshou had always been a brawler who loved fighting. Ordinarily, he wouldn't dare offend Qi Tian, but now that Qi Tian had given the go-ahead, he wanted to give it a try.

"Please forgive me, Buddha Lord. I'm going to attack now," Qi Tianshou said.

Qi Tian smiled at Qi Tianshou and gave a slight nod. He also encouraged all three with a look.

The instant Qi Tian nodded, Qi Tianshou exploded into motion at terrifying speed. A sonic boom rang out as he vanished from where he stood, streaking across the sea like lightning and parting the water into waves dozens of meters high.

The next second, Qi Tian saw a fist coming toward him, aimed straight at his chest. But when his consciousness spread out, the fist seemed to move in slow motion, its speed delayed.

Qi Tian simply raised a hand and brushed it aside. Qi Tianshou's fist, packed with terrifying force, was swept away. The force of Qi Tian's downward motion also threw Qi Tianshou off balance, redirecting his attack toward the sea.

In the blink of an eye, Qi Jingshi saw Qi Tianshou's punch—originally aimed at Qi Tian—veer off course. Still in his punching stance, Qi Tianshou hurtled diagonally toward the sea on one side.

Boom!

A deafening crash erupted, like a massive cannonball exploding on the sea's surface. A ring of waves surged a hundred meters into the air.

Then another burst of spray erupted at the center of the waves as Qi Tianshou shot up from beneath the sea. He'd quickly wrapped himself in Origin Force, so his clothes hadn't gotten wet.

Qi Tianshou hovered above the sea, replaying the sensation of having his attack interrupted by Qi Tian. He felt as if he'd realized something.

Seeing Qi Tianshou attack—and have his strike so easily brushed aside—stirred Qi Jingshi's fighting spirit. He immediately charged at Qi Tian as well.

Qi Shangye smiled. With a slight shift of his consciousness, an invisible force enveloped him.

As he gently raised his right hand, the necklace around his neck snapped. Eighteen sharp beast claws, strung together with fine threads, scattered and floated around him.

Under Qi Shangye's control, the eighteen beast claws shot forward, becoming streaks of light too fast for the naked eye to follow as they flew straight toward Qi Tian.

The claws flew even faster than Qi Jingshi, who had attacked first. They instantly passed through the place where Qi Tian stood. Yet after they pierced his chest, his hovering figure slowly faded away.

Qi Tian could only make out the beast claws hurtling toward him under someone else's control. To him, they were still slow. A mere shift of his consciousness was enough to move his body away.

But just as he came to a stop, Qi Jingshi seemed to have predicted exactly where he'd appear. His leg swept toward Qi Tian's landing spot at a speed as swift as a flash of lightning.

Qi Tian raised his arm to block Qi Jingshi's powerful whip kick. It couldn't break through his defense, and he felt no pain, but his strength was suppressed. The tremendous force still sent him flying backward dozens of meters.

After regaining his footing, Qi Tian heard a rush of air behind him. Qi Tianshou had seized the moment to attack again.

Qi Tian's consciousness erupted. A tangible wave of overwhelming pressure surged from his mind. The sea, already churning from their earlier battle, exploded into waves like a tsunami.

Qi Tianshou was about to attack Qi Tian from behind, but the invisible impact struck him and sent him flying more than a hundred meters back.

Then Qi Tian flashed into view in front of him and punched him in the stomach. A sense of danger made Qi Tianshou instinctively activate his talent and transform into his Golden Buddha Form.

A deafening clash rang out like metal striking metal. The instant Qi Tian's fist hit Qi Tianshou, Qi Tianshou transformed into his Golden Buddha Form. The tremendous force of the blow sent him flying backward.

Origin Force poured out in an instant, carrying golden energy like a shock wave as it bore down on Qi Tian. The sea below sank at once, forming a vast semicircle.

The golden energy scoured away the seawater across several kilometers, leaving a vacuum. Then a world-ending tsunami surged outward in every direction, while spray exploded into the sky like a downpour before pouring back down.

Even the Gold Soul Clan members far away on the mainland could feel a faint surge of energy. One after another, they turned to look toward the battlefield at sea.
