Beihua Planet on Cybertron

Qi Tian felt the changes in himself in the Golden Buddha Form. Aside from growing twice as large as before, his comprehension of the laws had also become much clearer.

"When I used my talent to transform into the Golden Buddha Form before, my Combat Power Amplitude tripled, and my comprehension of the Origin Law improved threefold as well."

"Now that I'm examining it more closely, I can feel that my Combat Power Amplitude has increased sixfold, and my comprehension of the laws has become even clearer."

Qi Tian moved his upper body. His golden palms pressed together, sending golden ripples through the air. The Origin Law of Gold was clearly much more powerful.

"Wow, this lounge is a little cramped. When I sit cross-legged, my head nearly touches the ceiling."

With a sigh, Qi Tian could only return to his original form. The moment he left the Golden Buddha Form, the clarity of his comprehension of the laws plummeted.

"I need to hurry and get the killing mist from the character 'Demon.'"

"Only by separating out the Buddha-Demon Body and keeping it in a state where it can use its talent will I be able to maintain my rate of comprehension."

"And having another body will greatly improve my chances of survival. It'll also make it easier to explore the unknown secret realm I learned about from Mikita."

Qi Tian stood up. Sweat stains marked the bed where he had just sat, and he felt uncomfortable all over.

After a thorough wash, he had only just stepped out when Futu's voice sounded in the lounge.

"Master, we're expected to reach Beihua Planet in six hours."

"Maintain speed and continue."

Qi Tian gave Futu the order. A pulse of Origin Force evaporated the water droplets on his body, and his Force Battle Suit covered him once more, transforming into a comfortable, pleasing white robe.

Qi Tian sent Chi Xin a message saying that he was about to reach Beihua Planet and asking whether Chi Xin wanted to wait for him there.

When he signed the agreement to join the Virtual Universe Company branch, the information packet had stated that he needed to reach Beihua Planet within a year. A ship from the Virtual Universe Company would then take him to the training site in the Noah Universe Kingdom.

It had only been a little over two months, so Qi Tian still had plenty of time.

Chi Xin soon sent back a message. He was currently aboard his teacher's ship, heading toward Beihua Planet.

The journey had originally been expected to take more than half a year, but now it looked like they would arrive in four days.

"Having an Immortal teacher is great. He even gets a private ship to pick him up." Qi Tian thought enviously.

But then he remembered that Chi Xin's teacher was rather unreliable, and his envy quickly faded.

Six hours passed in the blink of an eye. Futu announced that they had reached the Beihua Planet region.

Qi Tian ordered the ship to activate its external simulation and saw an iron planet almost entirely covered in metal. This was the destination of his journey: Beihua Planet.

Beihua Planet was more than ten times larger than Gold Soul Planet. Numerous orbital defense satellites circled it.

There were also three enormous, partially metallic asteroids revolving around Beihua Planet.

Many large transport ships traveled back and forth between the three asteroids and Beihua Planet.

"What is this, Cybertron?" Qi Tian stared at the metal planet in shock.

Before coming, he had looked up information on Beihua Planet. The description had been rather vague, mentioning only that its technology was relatively advanced.

The information also specifically noted that Beihua Planet was an important commercial world specializing in technology within the Noah Universe Kingdom.

He had been prepared for something impressive, but he hadn't expected Beihua Planet to be so different from what he'd imagined.

Considering the Beihua Empire's ruler was an Immortal Expert, he knew that Beihua Planet couldn't simply be covered in metal.

The three partially metallic asteroids orbiting Beihua Planet might even be some kind of powerful weapons.

As Qi Tian's ship drew closer, it had not yet entered the planet's territory when Futu received an identity verification request from Beihua Planet's external administration department.

Qi Tian quickly submitted his credentials as a citizen of the Beihua Empire. Only after several minutes of verification did Futu receive a guidance signal directing it to the planet's docking port.

Following the signal's route, Futu traveled to one of the three partially metallic asteroids and docked in a relatively open area.

Qi Tian could see the Virtual Universe Company logo marked on the ground of the ship's docking area.

"How can they be this strict? The ship can only dock on an asteroid outside Beihua Planet." Qi Tian clicked his tongue in surprise.

What he didn't know was that if the system hadn't verified him as a new member of the Virtual Universe Company branch, he probably wouldn't even have been allowed in.

After leaving the ship and taking a transport vessel toward Beihua Planet's interior, he discovered that more than ninety percent of his fellow passengers were Domain Lord Level experts.

Even those below the Domain Lord Level were all attendants. Qi Tian was the only one traveling alone whose strength had yet to reach the Domain Lord Level.

Something's not right. This is really not right. Qi Tian thought to himself.

The transport vessel soon reached the planet's surface. Under Qi Tian's gaze, it entered a huge metal passage marked with the universal numeral "7."

The passage was wide enough for more than a dozen transport ships, each several thousand meters long, to travel through at once. Bright lights illuminated the way, and he could also see spaceships approaching in the distance.

"Look, that's an F-class spaceship—the mount of an Immortal Expert."

A Domain Lord Level expert traveling with them in the transport vessel's cabin spoke to his companion, gazing enviously at the deep-blue spaceship that passed them.

"Only World Lords can travel to and from Beihua Planet on their own. So any spaceship you see flying solo is usually at least E-class. Every now and then, you might even see an F-class ship belonging to an Immortal."

Someone else had heard the first man identify the spaceship that had just passed. He immediately shared the information with the junior traveling with him.

As the journey continued, Qi Tian realized that the transport vessel doubled as a kind of public transit.

Aside from its final destination, where cargo was exchanged, the vessel also stopped at smaller passages along the way and announced which company or department each passage led to.

About half an hour passed. By then, only a few people remained aboard, and the cabin announced information about the next stop.

"The next stop is the passage to the Virtual Universe Company district. Passengers, please disembark in an orderly manner."

Qi Tian heard the ship's mechanical announcement and perked up.

"Finally."

A little over ten seconds later, the transport vessel stopped. Its doors opened onto a passage a hundred meters in diameter.

A huge semicircular platform stood in front of the passage, where quite a few people were waiting for the return transport vessel.

Qi Tian flew out of the ship and slowly descended onto the platform. At the far end, near the passage entrance, he spotted a service desk.

Several uniformed employees were warmly assisting people who had come to the Virtual Universe Company on business.

Qi Tian headed straight for an available male attendant and asked with a smile,

"Hello, I'm a newly joined special-grade member of the Virtual Universe Company's Beihua Branch. Could you tell me where to go to report for duty at the branch?"
