He slowly raised the Holy Sword of Darkness in his hand and swept his gaze over the blood-red Original Sins Array. His voice rang clearly throughout the Divine Realm. "You Seven Deadly Sins have your own understanding, but my Seven Deadly Sins have ours as well."
As his words fell, his fingertips brushed the blade of the Holy Sword of Darkness. He continued, each word imbued with the power to pierce the very essence of living beings:
"To survive, there is gluttony. To reproduce, there is lust. To protect, there is wrath. To advance, there is greed. To lie low, there is sloth. To come out ahead, there is envy. To stand tall, there is pride."
"What you regard as original sin was never truly evil, but it is an instinct etched into the bones of every living being—the very foundation of survival. You treat it as shackles to bind all living things, but I can turn it into a blade that cuts through illusion."
With every sentence he spoke, a corresponding demonic pattern lit up on the Holy Sword of Darkness. When he finished all seven, the power of the Seven Deadly Sins had fully gathered on the blade. It shared the same source as the Original Sins Array, yet was purer and more tremendous. Not a trace of twisted evil clung to it. Instead, it bore the frankness of facing the true nature of all living beings. It met the Original Sins Array that shrouded the sky from afar, standing as its equal!
Next, Qian Chongguang raised the Holy Sword of Light in his left hand and looked toward the Seven-Colored Elemental Array. He laughed boldly. "The power of the elements is the foundation of the world, the source from which all things under heaven are formed. Light can guide it, darkness can contain it, and all living beings can sense it. What gives only you the right to gather it into an array?"
As the words fell, seven-colored divine light suddenly blazed from the Holy Sword of Light. The Seven Great Elemental Laws—water, fire, earth, wind, light, darkness, and space—blended perfectly along the blade. Without drawing on any external power, he relied solely on his understanding of the world's origin to force into being elemental power of the same source as the Elemental Array, yet more nimble and immense. As the seven-colored light flowed, it steadily withstood the annihilating pressure of the Elemental Array!
The entire crowd fell silent.
Every god stood rooted to the spot, eyes wide and wearing utterly dumbfounded expressions. They had even forgotten to breathe.
Not only had he emerged unscathed from the two great arrays that guarded the realm, he had actually brought forth power on par with both arrays all by himself?! These two formations were the ultimate realm-guarding killing moves, and it took seven First-Level Gods working together just to activate them!
But before they could recover from their shock, something even more hair-raising happened.
A wholly different wave of divine power suddenly burst from around Qian Chongguang. Joy, anger, sorrow, happiness, love, loathing, and evil—the Seven Purest Emotion Laws—were perfectly revealed through him.
"Holy shit!"
The Destruction God King could no longer hold it in. He swore aloud, then turned to Asura God and roared, "Asura! You idiot! Look at what you've created for us! This thing's a freaking nightmare! He's an ancestor who could flip our entire Divine Realm upside down!"
The Evil God King was completely dumbfounded too. As a God King who controlled the laws of emotion and evil, he knew better than anyone how hard the laws of emotion were to master. Yet this young man before him not only embodied both light and darkness, but had also mastered the Seven Deadly Sins and the Seven Great Elemental Laws all by himself—and now he had grasped the laws of emotion without even being taught?!
This wasn't just absurd. It completely defied every law of the Divine Realm!
The Dragon God of old had relied on his powerful body and bloodline to overwhelm the gods, but even he hadn't comprehended every god's innate law to the utmost degree and played with them all like Qian Chongguang was doing!
"Attack together! Activate the Three Realms Judgment Sword!"
The Destruction God King's eyes bulged with fury. Daring not hold back any longer, he was the first to pour all of his God King origin power into the void. Asura God, Life Goddess, Goodness Goddess, and the Evil God King moved at the same time. The origin divine powers of the Five Great God Kings fused perfectly, condensing into a gigantic sword that pierced heaven and earth!
This was the Divine Realm's strongest killing move: the Three Realms Judgment Sword! It had been this very sword that slew the invincible Dragon God of old!
The instant the giant sword took shape, space throughout the entire Divine Realm began to crumble inch by inch. Its power, enough to annihilate everything, locked firmly onto Qian Chongguang, leaving him no chance to dodge!
But just as the Three Realms Judgment Sword was about to strike, Qian Chongguang suddenly smiled.
He had no intention of taking the blow head-on. His twelve wings of light and darkness beat fiercely, and divine power erupted around him. Right under the Five Great God Kings' unrelenting lock, he tore open a spatial rift at the edge of the battlefield!
"You want me to take your ultimate move head-on? Do you think I'm an idiot?"
His voice still echoed where he had been, but he had already passed through the spatial rift and appeared directly before the Seven Deadly Sins Gods and the Seven Elemental Gods stationed outside.
Before the First-Level Gods could react, Qian Chongguang had already swung the Light and Dark Twin Swords!
The Holy Sword of Light swept across with the power of the Seven Great Elements, blasting the Seven Elemental Gods away. The Seven Deadly Sins Gods screamed as their spirits shook; none could even stay on their feet. They clutched their heads and rolled on the ground, writhing in agony as their own laws of original sin turned on them.
In barely a second, Qian Chongguang had crippled every god presiding over the two great arrays!
"Qian Chongguang! You despicable coward! Face me if you have the guts!"
Asura God watched the Three Realms Judgment Sword he had poured all his strength into condensing cut through empty air, while Qian Chongguang had beaten the gods stationed outside to a pulp. He shook with rage and swore aloud.
"No honor! You're a god who inherited the Angel God Position, yet you resort to such underhanded tricks!"
The Destruction God King was so furious his face turned green. The Five Great God Kings had gone all out to unleash their killing move, only for their opponent to refuse to face it and turn around to beat up the weaker ones instead. It was like having their faces ground into the dirt!
But Qian Chongguang didn't care in the slightest. He wiped the divine blood splashed on his face and gave a scornful laugh. "Five God Kings ganging up on me, a half-step God King, and you want to talk about honor? You set up two realm-guarding arrays to gang up on me, and you want to call me despicable? If it lets me beat you, no trick is too low."
Before his words had even faded, he flashed away and charged toward the First-Level Gods watching from a distance. Screams rang out wherever he went. Those gods, usually perched high above everyone else, couldn't withstand even a single move from him. He beat them until they wailed for their mothers and fathers, utterly miserable.
But no one noticed that with every attack, every time he unleashed forbidden power, fine cracks began to spread across his divine body.
Golden and black divine blood seeped slowly through the cracks. His aura began to waver faintly, no longer as steady as before.
