First, let me get down on my knees and apologize.

Because the schedule changed at the last minute, the release date was moved up to midnight on February 1.

So I won't be able to deliver the 30-chapter update I promised in my previous author's note right away on launch day.

But... but... but!!!

I'll say it three times, because it's important.

I'll make up for it little by little, I promise.

So I'll post at least 15 chapters on the first.

Based on the current monthly votes, I owe 41 chapters in total.

That means there are 26 left.

You can rest assured about that.

After launch, I'll gradually make up for the promised extra chapters on top of my usual 20,000 words a day.

I never expected that my previous author's note would bring in so many monthly votes.

You have to understand, back then, the other authors with about the same number of followers as me...

Their monthly votes, comments, and even recommendation votes—in short, all their engagement stats—were several times higher than mine.

So when I saw how many readers were quietly supporting me, I couldn't help but kowtow to all my dear supporters a few more times.

It's a shame that, even with Sanjiang and the big recommendation slot this week, I still didn't get any results.

But I'm already very satisfied.

After all, this book has already achieved my best results yet.

I hope that if you're enjoying it,

you'll consider subscribing to show your support!~

I'd also like to thank my editor, Jia Nan.

She's truly, truly wonderful.
