A heaven-shaking roar suddenly erupted from the northern part of Konoha. A violent chakra storm swept through the area, instantly reducing the nearest houses to splinters. Some Konoha villagers were swept up by the storm and hurled into the distance.
Amid the dust and smoke, a colossal beast as tall as a mountain loomed in and out of view. It threw back its head and howled beneath the moonlight, its scarlet eyes radiating a terrifying, bloodthirsty glow.

No one knew who had shouted the name first, but terror swiftly spread afterward. The villagers fled madly toward the rear, wishing they had been born with two more legs.
"Nine-Tails, attack!" Obito Uchiha coldly ordered from atop a tower beside the Nine-Tails.
In an instant, the Nine-Tails' terrifying chakra surged into the sky. Its nine tails churned heaven and earth, pulverizing everything around it in moments.
It was like a prehistoric beast descended upon the human world, destroying everything it could destroy.
Countless Konoha villagers were struck by falling boulders as they fled. Screams mingled with cries of terror, and all of Konoha fell into chaos.
Elsewhere, inside the Hokage Office Building, a ninja wearing an Anbu mask appeared in the Hokage's office.
"Lord Third, the Nine-Tails... the Nine-Tails has suddenly appeared in the village." Even with his mask on, he could not conceal the panic in his voice.
