The class bell rang right on time. Sasuke boredly looked out the window as a flock of white pigeons fluttered past. It looked like another boring day.
Beside him sat that annoying Uzumaki Naruto. Sasuke had absolutely no favorable impression of the guy.
That idiot had come from who knew where, stolen first place from him in the entrance exam, and was especially annoying to boot. He was practically a chatterbox. Sasuke really did not know why such a nagging person was better than him.
He refused to accept it!
Here, because of Shin's existence, Naruto was no longer the dead last. Thus, Sasuke's way of addressing him had changed as well. He now called Naruto "that idiot," and rarely used his name at all.
Naruto was the complete opposite. He was naturally warmhearted. Though he acted as if he disliked Sasuke on the surface, deep down, he still wanted to become friends with him.
It just seemed like there was a long road ahead.
At that moment, Iruka entered the classroom with a textbook in hand, and the previously noisy atmosphere immediately fell silent.
Just like in the original story, Naruto and the others had still been assigned to Iruka's class.
"Alright, students, class is starting." Iruka smiled as he took his place before the blackboard.
Everyone stood up at once and said in unison, "Good morning, Teacher!"
"Good morning, students!" Iruka said with a smile, waving for everyone to sit down. He opened the textbook and said, "Alright, open your books to page thirty-six. Today, I'll be teaching you about a type of ninja technique: hand-signless ninjutsu."
Holding the textbook, Iruka wrote on the blackboard as he spoke. "In our previous lessons, we discussed ninja techniques and the basics of hand seals. The vast majority of ninjutsu use
