"Bushy-Brow Sensei, who is that guy?" Naruto Uzumaki asked in a low voice.
Might Guy said gravely, "That guy is Obito Uchiha. He was a shinobi from the same generation as Kakashi and me, and he was on the same team as Kakashi back then. But he should have died during the Battle of Kannabi Bridge in the Fourth Shinobi World War."
"Yeah, I understand!" Naruto Uzumaki nodded, having roughly grasped the situation.
"Obito, tell me why things turned out like this. Even if you didn't die, you shouldn't have become like this!" Kakashi demanded loudly.
A cold smile appeared on Obito's face. "What I become isn't something for you to decide, Kakashi. If I am the way I am today, it's all because of you. From the moment you killed Rin with your own hands, the Obito Uchiha of the past was already dead!"
Kakashi's pupils contracted at once as he said quietly, "You knew about that? But, Obito, that was—"
"Say no more!" Obito shouted, cutting him off. He said darkly, "I don't want to say anything more about the past. And I have no attachment whatsoever to this decaying world that is about to end.
In the new world I am about to create, Rin and Kakashi will exist. As for all of you, perish along with this rotten world!"
Naruto Uzumaki said quietly, "Kakashi-sensei, I don't know what happened between you two, but right now, stopping them is the most important thing. We can talk about everything else after this is over!"
Might Guy nodded as well. "That's right, Kakashi. Stopping him is the right course of action now. You should know that he's no longer the Obito he used to be."
Taking a deep breath, Kakashi's gaze gradually calmed. He said quietly, "Yeah, I understand.
