Tsunade asked in a low voice. Poisons capable of leaving all of Konoha helpless were not common.
Jiraiya said, "Orochimaru and Akatsuki attacked Konoha together. We drove them back, but the old man was poisoned. It was Sasori of the Red Sands from Sunagakure."
"Sasori of the Red Sands?" Tsunade asked doubtfully.
"He's Chiyo's grandson, though he defected from Sunagakure long ago. Both the Third Kazekage and Fourth Kazekage died by his hand," Jiraiya explained. Tsunade had been away from the village for too long; she had not even participated in the Third Shinobi World War, so it was only natural that she did not know who Sasori was.
In fact, Konoha had only obtained that intelligence from Sunagakure after this incident.
"Chiyo's grandson... no wonder," Tsunade murmured, recalling her battles of poison and antidotes against Chiyo during the Second Shinobi World War.
"Let's go." Tsunade rose to her feet.
"Yeah." Jiraiya nodded, lowering his head to glance at Naruto. "Pay the bill, kid."
"Uh... that's it?" Naruto exclaimed in surprise. He had thought he would need to spend quite some effort persuading Tsunade, but she had agreed so easily.

He took out his wallet and paid for the meal with a pained expression, then frowned as he squeezed his wallet.
