"Then I must thank the God of Time and Space for your generosity. I assume you wouldn't mind if I took my two unconscious subordinates with me," Dragon said softly, signaling for the girl named Sika to carry away the other two unconscious companions.
Shin did not stop them.
These two were high-ranking members of the Revolutionary Army, elite talents within the organization. Such people were exceedingly rare in their struggle against the World Government, so Dragon naturally could not abandon them.
Lifting the two burly men with one hand, Sika showed no sign of strain. She stole a glance at Shin, then ran off without looking back.
"It seems you left quite an impression on her," Dragon said with a light laugh as he watched his subordinate vanish into the rain.
Shin replied indifferently, "Is that so? I've always thought I was quite popular."
"Heh, perhaps." Dragon chuckled without committing either way. "Now that only the two of us are left, let's discuss the real business."
"So none of that before was the real business?" Shin muttered.
Dragon's expression turned serious as he said in a low voice, "How about we cooperate?"
"Oh?" Shin raised a brow, an amused expression appearing on his face. He was not surprised by Dragon's proposal; he had already known the other man's purpose when the Revolutionary Army appeared.
"What an interesting proposal. Why should I cooperate with you? And how much do you actually know about me?"
Thunder rumbled through the sky, and a bolt of lightning tore across the heavens, illuminating Dragon's face beneath his gray robe. His solemn expression, paired with the tattoo on his face, made him look like a Shura standing in the darkness.
After a moment, Dragon spoke. "Information about you has been difficult to gather, but we
