After observing it for two seconds, Shin pushed the door open and entered. A powerful force of darkness surged from the door, yet it passed straight through Shin's body as if he did not exist at all.
"Tch, it's just a treasury. Why make such a big deal out of it?" Shin scoffed, ignoring the barrier's retaliatory effect on the door as he walked inside.
The moment he stepped in, a dazzling golden glow filled his vision. All manner of strange magical materials and treasures lay scattered throughout the room. There were also corpses of various bizarre demons. Shin recognized some of them, but he could not identify most of them at all.
"Looks like all this belongs to me now." Shin smiled. Who cared what they were? As long as they looked valuable, he could take them back and study them slowly.
With a casual wave of his hand, space was immediately sliced apart, forming a small pocket like a scrap of cloth. Countless rare treasures poured into it like a tide.
Since Shin had not descended into the Abyss with his true body, his personal storage space had not come with him. But that was no problem at all. With his current strength, making a new one was effortless.
As he gathered the contents of the treasury, Shin surveyed its interior. Suddenly, his gaze was drawn to an object at its center.
It was a silvery-white sphere emitting a hazy glow, no larger than half a fist. The surrounding space was pulled inward and warped around it, giving off an exceptionally heavy feeling.
From this silvery-white sphere, Shin sensed the familiar aura of time. This was an item containing the laws of time.
