"What happened?" Shin asked with a smile. Even though he already knew the whole story, he did not want to make himself seem too much like some all-knowing prophet.

Robin panted as she said, "It's like this. I made a friend today—Saul. He's a very good person. He told me that the Marines and the Government are coming to destroy Ohara. Lord Shin, please save this place."

"Destroy Ohara?" Shin repeated, his tone showing little reaction. Earlier, out of irritation, he had stirred up a storm at sea and capsized the ship Spandine had been aboard.

Only, the man's luck had been absurdly good. Even after falling into such a storm, he had still survived. All he could say was that the inertia of the world could indeed be powerful at times.

Of course, to Shin, this was all a trivial matter. Killing Spandine would take no more than the lift of a hand, but he now had a different idea.
