"Undying Flame!"
With a sweep of Hancock's arm, the flames suddenly spread, enveloping Kizaru's entire body in an instant.
"Admiral Borsalino!" The Marines in the distance cried out, terror appearing in their eyes.
"Attack! Fire on the Kuja Pirates!" A Marine colonel quickly gave the order. All cannons opened fire at once, countless iron shells filled with flames blasting toward the Kuja Pirates.
"Return fire. I'll handle their artillery." Hancock snorted and decisively issued her command.
The Kuja Pirates had decided to sail out years ago, and their ships were equipped with powerful cannons and all manner of other weapons.
As the shells neared the ships, Hancock suddenly waved her hand. An invisible field spread outward, covering all her vessels. Whenever a shell approached, a ball of flame would automatically ignite around it, wrapping it up and burning it away before it could even explode.
"What... is that power?" The Marines stared wide-eyed. This was their first time seeing an ability capable of intercepting cannonballs in midair.
A powerful flash of light burst across the sky, followed by an explosion of terrifying energy, like a miniature sun.
The sea below began to churn, and the flames were instantly shattered by the energy blast as Kizaru's figure reappeared.
This time, however, faint burn marks had appeared on his body.
"How careless of me. These flames are somewhat like the phoenix flames of Marco from the Whitebeard Pirates, but they feel distinctly different. These flames are more destructive—they can even burn away light itself."
His gaze turned downward, while Hancock looked up at the same time.
Their gazes clashed in the air. Both Hancock and Kizaru understood that the outcome of this battle rested on the two of them.
"Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi!"
Without hesitation, Kizaru immediately used his signature technique. Light rapidly gathered around
