"Idiot. If you want to go, then go. Going back to Marineford now is a dead end. If you'd retreated when Shin spoke earlier, everyone could have made it back to the ships by now. Do you really think he was joking?"

Marco berated them mercilessly. The subordinate pirate crews of the Whitebeard Pirates and the division commanders were not truly in a superior-subordinate relationship. That experience had made one thing abundantly clear to him: Shin was not some mild-tempered, easygoing gentleman.
