With Blackbeard's attention drawn by the previous strike, Ace shouted as flames surged violently over his entire body.
Flames blazed around his fist, the intense heat warping the air around him. In the maritime environment, white steam rose around the flames, and even a trace of white appeared at their core.
That was a sign that the temperature had reached a certain extreme.
"God-Splitting Fire!"
Ace punched out the flames, and the sky erupted with a thunderous boom, as though it were about to shatter.
This was the result of his progress over the past two years. The flames with their pure white core could burn through anything. Blackbeard's darkness could devour everything, but once it exceeded its limits, it would still suffer backlash.
Otherwise, Blackbeard would have been invincible the moment he ate the Dark-Dark Fruit.
"Luffy!" Having temporarily driven Blackbeard back, Ace hurriedly turned and shouted.
Luffy and Weevil had clashed, and both appeared to have been injured. But Luffy had been sent flying toward the sea, and Luffy was a Devil Fruit user. The consequences...
But Ace was clearly worrying too much. The current Luffy had long since grown into a great pirate capable of standing on his own.
The instant he neared the seawater, he shouted, and his ability to control water erupted from within. The seawater beneath him suddenly split apart, and when Luffy fell, not a single drop of seawater touched him.
The next instant, his stretched arm shot out, grabbed a mast nearby, and yanked hard. Luffy leaped out from beneath the sea.
"That big guy's really strong." Luffy grinned as he rolled his arm.
His gaze shifted. The situation at sea was far from good. Aside from Roronoa Zoro, most of the others had already fallen into a
