In the entire Soul Society, perhaps only Yamamoto Genryusai, after releasing his Bankai, could rival him.
The current Aizen still found it quite difficult to deal with such an opponent.
Of course, if it were the later Aizen who had fused with the Hōgyoku, beating down a Raditz with combat power over ten thousand would have been effortless.
Even without the Hōgyoku, Aizen himself from over a century later could handle this sort of enemy.
Unfortunately, all of that was meaningless. Though the current Aizen had also concealed his true strength within Soul Society, there was still a considerable gap between him and his future self.
Moreover, under normal circumstances, Aizen could simply have ignored this big fellow. If he wanted to leave, no one could stop him.
But the Main God's mission was right there. Although he still had doubts about this Main God and did not fully believe its threat of erasure, after seeing everything along the way, he had no desire to test it.
I have to find a way to turn this around. Someone needs to hold him back head-on. Aizen thought. As he swung his Zanpakuto, countless energy railings suddenly appeared in the sky and crashed down, suppressing the furious Great Ape.
