A triangular energy crystal wall appeared, instantly enveloping Krillin.
The energy in Burter's hand exploded. The triangular barrier shook violently, but did not shatter.

Gohan cried out, his eyes full of worry. Yet his hands had already overlapped, and the light of Masenko illuminated the entire sky.
Unfortunately, though it looked incredibly imposing, its actual power was rather lacking.
Burter merely snorted. With a casual sweeping kick, he tore Masenko apart down the middle, and his figure had already ripped through space to arrive before Gohan.
"Kid, looks like you're in a hurry to die!" Burter sneered as his claw reached for Gohan's little head.
In past battles, he had always enjoyed crushing other people's heads like watermelons.
The blood and brains splattering across the sky were his favorite colors.

Just as Gohan panicked, Yamamoto Genryusai suddenly appeared before him. Armament Haki covered both his arms, while the Commander-General's robe on his upper body had somehow already burned away. He drove both fists viciously toward Burter.

"Th-Thank you..." Gohan stammered.

Farther away, another column of flame rose into the air. Jeice retreated with an indignant expression, while the burning Zanpakuto rapidly flew toward Yamamoto Genryusai and landed directly in his hand.
Burter also halted in the sky and shouted, "What's going on, Jeice? Didn't you say you'd take care of him?"
Jeice was equally furious. Obvious burn marks had already appeared across his body. "This guy's a little troublesome. Forget Vegeta and the others for now—let's join forces and kill him first! We'll deal with Vegeta and the others afterward!"
