When Lullaby's melody reached Captain Naresa's ears, he tried to stay awake, but he could not withstand its power and slowly drifted off to sleep.
McBain, Forte, and Una then slipped out together and soon arrived at the location shown on the magic map.
Inside a house, they unexpectedly found a passage leading underground. At the bottom lay a vast cavern, crisscrossed by muddy paths. McBain and the others had no idea how many times they slipped and fell there.
"This place is really muddy. What kind of Resonance Stone could be here?"
Forte looked at McBain, who said, "Judging by this cave, it seems to be related to the Mud Resonance Stone. There are only a few Resonance Stones we still have not collected, and Mud is one of them. A muddy cave like this should have a Mud Resonance Stone."
Forte smiled. "Grandpa, your analysis seems sound. Let's keep going. Even though you've already turned into a muddy little tabby, I definitely won't laugh at you."
Una immediately spoke up for McBain. "Little Forte, aren't you a muddy little tabby too? If you say that about Grandpa, he'll throw it right back at you."
McBain laughed. "Forte, even Una is speaking up for me. Why don't you take a look at just how muddy you are?"
Forte said helplessly, "Fine. If even Una is laughing at me, then I just won't play with you anymore. Let's hurry up, find the Resonance Stone, and get out of here."
McBain and the others continued searching for the Resonance Stone. It had been hidden deep within the cave. They fell, got back up, then fell again; after countless hardships, they finally arrived before the Resonance Stone chest.
"That was really not easy." McBain said, "We finally found Leonie's Resonance Stone chest."
