The moment Green Ox saw this monk, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes filled with disbelief.
"B-Buddha!" Green Ox cried, his eyes wide.
This monk was none other than Buddha.
"Hello, Green Ox," Buddha said with a smile.
Green Ox looked at Buddha, bowed to him, and then flew toward the lower realm.
But Green Ox was blocked. No matter what he did, he could not leave the boundaries of the Heavenly Court.
Green Ox looked at Buddha and knew that Buddha was stopping him.
He could only return to Doushuai Palace and report the matter to Taishang Lord Lao.
Lord Lao remained calm after hearing this, for he had just foreseen that Buddha would come here.
"Lord Lao, what should we do now?" Green Ox could not help asking.
Lord Lao said, "Buddha is now outside the South Heaven Gate, preventing you from descending to the lower realm. Within the Heavenly Court, I am the only one who can contend with him, but I cannot leave Doushuai Palace right now."
Green Ox frowned. "Since we cannot leave, we can notify the Mystic Spirit King in the lower realm
