Uchiha Shin was observing outside Hongjun Island that day when he suddenly heard a tremendous sound coming from within, as if a mountain had collapsed.
He flew into the air to look, but Uchiha Shin saw no abnormalities. The mountains on Hongjun Island remained completely intact.
"Yuyu, what's going on?" Uchiha Shin asked Yuyu as she flew over.
"I'm not too sure either. There were sounds like this on Hongjun Island some time ago as well. They occur every so often, but I don't really understand what's causing them," Yuyu replied.
That afternoon, the demons came out to fight once more.
Uchiha Shin found Su Liangliang and brought up the matter.
"Old Xuan, sorry, but this is something our demon clan has to keep secret. We can't tell you for now," Su Liangliang said to Uchiha Shin after hesitating for a moment.
Uchiha Shin was surprised. What were the demons doing in there? Why were they being so mysterious?
Since it was their secret, Uchiha Shin could not force them to answer.
Over the next several days, tremendous sounds rang out from Hongjun Island every day. Uchiha Shin never managed to understand what was happening there.
For the first few days, the sound only rang out once a day. But after several days passed, it sometimes sounded two or three times a day on Hongjun Island, or even six or seven times. Every single blast was thunderously loud.
One day, Uchiha Shin witnessed something. He saw several demons carrying corpses out—corpses of their own people. There were dozens in total.
Uchiha Shin furrowed his brow. What was going on?
Could something have happened there?
