Everyone nodded after hearing the wolf demon's words. He had a point.
"Little monk, we agree to your terms, but you must not kill yourself recklessly. If you do, we'll continue slaughtering those humans!" The wolf demon turned and said to the little monk.
"Of course. This humble monk always keeps his word and will never go back on it." The little monk smiled.
The wolf demon waved a hand, allowing the ordinary mortals to leave.
The mortals gave the little monk grateful looks before scattering and fleeing.
Izumi Uchiha watched from afar, a smile appearing at the corner of her lips. This little monk was rather interesting.
He had actually managed to deceive those demons. That was quite impressive.
Uchiha Shin naturally did not believe that the little monk's flesh could increase one's cultivation and extend one's lifespan. If that were true, why would anyone bother cultivating? They could simply eat the flesh of eminent monks.
When the wolf demon examined the little monk's flesh and found it unusual, Uchiha Shin understood why. This little monk had likely been vegetarian and devout since childhood, never touching meat or fish. Moreover, he chanted sutras regularly, his heart calm and free of desire.
