After the three returned to Guanyin Monastery, they each went to rest, with nothing much to say.
Early the next morning, Goku got up before dawn and sat outside the door eating a banana.
Suddenly, he looked up and walked over to a nearby monk, startling the young monk badly.
"Little monk, your Elder Jinchi often went to see the Black Bear Spirit, right?" Goku asked.
The young monk nodded. "Yes."
Goku understood a little more now, and a smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"Xuanzang, Little White Dragon, I plan to transform into Elder Jinchi and make a trip to Black Wind Cave. I'll go inside and see what the situation is," Goku said to the two of them.
"Then be careful. Don't let him trap you inside Black Wind Cave," Xuanzang said.
Goku left and headed for Black Wind Mountain. When he had been at Black Wind Cave before, he had considered transforming into a small insect and flying in, but the cave's defenses were quite strict. That method would not allow him to enter unnoticed.
Rather than enter like that, it was better not to go in at all. Otherwise, he might be ambushed the moment he entered, leaving him with only death.
This time, however, Goku could infiltrate the place by taking on Elder Jinchi's appearance.
Although Elder Jinchi had been killed, most likely by the Black Bear Spirit, it did not matter. Goku would have an explanation ready when the time came.
When he arrived at Black Wind Cave, all the demons there recognized Elder Jinchi and greeted him one after another. Clearly, they did not know that Elder Jinchi was already dead.
"Is the Great King here?" Elder Jinchi asked with a smile.
"The Great King is inside. Elder Jinchi, please come
