Uchiha Shin followed Xiu Xiu toward the back of Kunlun Mountain in search of its forbidden ground.
Xiu Xiu did not know exactly where this forbidden ground was either. She had only heard about it from her mother.
Xiu Xiu was willing to help Uchiha Shin. No matter what he did, she believed he would never do anything bad. Even if he did, it would only be against bad people.
"My mother said Kunlun Mountain's forbidden ground is within a forest. The forest is neither too large nor too small. Once you enter it, you can find the entrance to the forbidden ground. But there are so many forests here—how are we supposed to know which one it is?" Standing atop a tall boulder on Kunlun Mountain, Xiu Xiu looked at the countless forests and felt a headache coming on.
Uchiha Shin also surveyed the surrounding woods. "Does this forest have any other distinguishing features?"
"She said the forest is round, but look at all these forests. Which one is round?" Xiu Xiu asked.
Uchiha Shin looked around. There truly were no circular forests nearby.
He was puzzled by this as well. After pondering for a while, his brows slowly furrowed as he seemed to understand what it meant.
"Xiu Xiu, I think I know where that place is," Uchiha Shin said.
"Where?"
Uchiha Shin extended his right hand and pointed at the forests, then traced a circle with his hand. "Look. Aren't all these forests connected together into one huge circle?"
Xiu Xiu looked in the direction he indicated, then nodded. It really was a massive circle.
"We misunderstood it earlier. It isn't a single circular forest—rather, many surrounding forests connect to form a huge circle. It seems the forbidden ground is inside," Uchiha Shin said with a smile.
