Xuanzang set out westward with his four companions.
Queen Mother of the West and the others stood by the Flowing Sand River, watching them depart. Only after they vanished from sight did they come back to their senses.
"Mystic Spirit King, there is something I want to ask you," Queen Mother of the West suddenly said with a smile.
"Please ask, Your Majesty," Uchiha Shin replied.
"Mystic Spirit King, I seem to have asked you this before. Do you know what will happen in the future? For example, the things Xuanzang will encounter on his journey west?" Queen Mother of the West stared at Uchiha Shin as she asked.
Uchiha Shin was slightly taken aback, then smiled. "Your Majesty, why ask such a question again? What is meant to exist will exist. What is not meant to exist will not exist, no matter how hard one strives for it."
He still could not casually reveal such matters, or it would cause unnecessary trouble.
Especially with Taishang Laojun and the others. If they confirmed this about him, they might go all out against him.
This was one of his most important trump cards. If he could not know what lay ahead, then they would be at a disadvantage in this quest to attain the Dao through the westward journey.
Queen Mother of the West nodded and did not press further. She had only asked out of curiosity.
"Mystic Spirit King, there is another matter I need to tell you. Ever since Xuanzang left Chang'an, the Three Pure Ones and the others have secretly been dealing with him, but you ruined all their efforts. They now bear a deep grudge against you.
"However, your identity is extraordinary, and there is a powerful existence behind you. They do not dare confront you directly.
