After the king awoke and heard the crown prince's account of what had happened, he was filled with gratitude toward Uchiha Shin and the others. He clamored to hand over the territory of Crow Rooster Kingdom to them.
Uchiha Shin and the others naturally refused. They told the king of Crow Rooster Kingdom to rest properly. After all, he had existed as a corpse for so many years, and though he had only just recovered, his body was still very weak.
"Let's go to Xuanzang's side now. I think the Lion Demon and the others will definitely make a move against Xuanzang," Uchiha Shin said.
The group left Crow Rooster Kingdom and headed toward Xuanzang.
Xuanzang, Little White Dragon, and Marshal Canopy traveled along the road. They moved very slowly while keeping watch for news from ahead.
"I didn't expect this time to take us so long and delay us for so long," Xuanzang said as he sat nearby.
"Taishang Laojun and the others have been helping in secret this time, and they were thoroughly prepared. It's only natural that we were delayed for so long," the Curtain-Rolling General said.
Xuanzang nodded. He was not particularly worried about the time; he was mainly worried about Uchiha Shin and the others.
He feared that Uchiha Shin's reputation would be ruined because of this matter.
Xuanzang knew every detail of the debate atop the palace walls of Crow Rooster Kingdom. They could not go there at that time.
That day, as they waited for the outcome from Uchiha Shin's side, demons suddenly appeared nearby. They were not in much of
