The Approaching Peak

Nine black dragons roared as they tore across this world, radiating an intent to destroy all things. Wherever they passed, black flames spilled forth and spread rapidly.

In the blink of an eye, the area had turned into a pitch-black sea of fire.

Yan stood atop a mountain peak. The mountain beneath his feet was the only one that had not collapsed in the aftermath of the previous clash.

"God, Heavenly Light!"

He brought his hands together, and Yin-Yang Release chakra suddenly erupted. White light burst outward from his body, illuminating the entire world.

Under that light, the nine black dragons broke apart, splitting into tiny black flames that quickly extinguished.

Just as Yan made his move, a kunai tore through the air at incredible speed and landed at his feet in an instant.

"Hmm!"

At the same moment, Shin's figure abruptly appeared. The illusory longsword in his hand slashed out in an instant. "Flying Thunder God Slash!"

Shin was incredibly fast—faster than the limits of neural reflexes. Yin-Yang Release flowed across the blade, ensuring that it could cut through any defensive ninjutsu.

No matter how powerful one was, the most effective attack was still to directly destroy the opponent's physical body.

Beneath his mask, Yan's gaze shifted slightly. In an instant, his eyes changed. His black pupils vanished, replaced by three concentric rings resembling tree rings.

A powerful repulsive force erupted from his body. Shin let out a muffled grunt, his attack thwarted as he was forced back.

In midair, a faint smile appeared at the corner of his lips. He snorted. "Hmph, the Rinnegan. Is there still any point in wearing that ridiculous mask now?"
