The spinning vortex of sand came to an abrupt stop. Uzumaki Heizo was yanked out by a tremendous force and flung straight toward the Uzumaki clansmen behind him, where someone hurriedly caught him.
"How dare you ignore me." The Second Kazekage spoke angrily, fury flashing in his eyes. How long had it been since anyone had ignored him like this?
Meanwhile, Uzumaki Heizo, caught by his clansmen in the rear, stared unblinkingly at Mito, a puzzled expression appearing on his face.
Her features seemed somewhat familiar. Judging by that head of red hair, she appeared to be from the Uzumaki main family, yet he could not recall any young female expert like her within the clan.
"Did you kill these people?" Uzumaki Mito looked at the Second Kazekage and asked coldly. Her plain white robe rustled in the night wind, and the moonlight falling upon her gave off a chilling gleam.
The Second Kazekage said nothing. The corner of his lips curled into a cold smile. He was completely enraged now; this woman's tone was full of condescension, making him extremely displeased.
"Desert Style, Flow Drill Technique!"
Without any warning, the Second Kazekage attacked. The ground beside Mito suddenly turned to sand, and four streams of fine sand surged forth like flowing water. Under the immense chakra, they hardened into diamond-like spears and stabbed toward Mito from both front and back.
"Watch out!" Uzumaki Heizo instinctively called out. No matter who this woman was, she was their only lifeline now.
Hearing him, Mito leisurely turned her head and gave him a reassuring smile. That alone frightened the entire Uzumaki clan half to death.
