Inside a room at the very top of the tower, a hazy figure appeared before Shin and reported something to him.
Listening closely, the figure's voice was crisp and clear—the voice of a young maiden.
"So Konoha's White Fang has already learned part of the intelligence regarding that base and is currently heading back to Konoha," Shin asked calmly, his expression revealing little.
"Y-yes. According to our calculations, if he travels at full speed, he can return to Konoha within roughly two days. By then, some of our organization's intelligence may be exposed. That is why I dared disturb you, Master. After all, the only one capable of killing him before he returns to Konoha is you." The hazy figure spoke respectfully.
A faint smile appeared on Shin's lips as he said softly, "You people really never let me have any peace. I can't even have a quiet stretch of time."

Shin waved a hand, a teasing glint appearing in his smile. "Forget it. But there's something I'm curious about. Since this mess came from the base where that girl Ru Yu is stationed, why did they send you, her older sister, to report it to me?"
The hazy figure's voice caught, and for a moment she did not know how to answer. After a while, she quietly said, "Ru Yu knows she failed in her duties and has no face to report to you herself."
"Heh." Shin chuckled and leaned back in the Mizukage's chair. "That little cleverness of hers only comes out at times like this. Tell her to return to headquarters and spend three days in solitary confinement in the Dark Passage. You will carry it out personally."
