Above the icy plains, three figures—two white, one black—flashed through the sky like phantoms.
They were Nava, Kent, and Nila of the Heaven's Mandate Sect.
One was an S-rank Ninth-Order Lower Position, while the other two were A-rank Ninth-Order Middle-Level.
They had entered the 7th Floor of the Void Shattering Tower nearly ten hours ago, yet they still had not found the passage to the next floor.
However, they had found quite a few Void Stones, and all three had entered the top thirty in the rankings.
Rumble!
A muffled peal of thunder came from the horizon to their right.
Dark clouds blanketed the sky, while streaks of Black Lightning raged within them like furious dragons.
"Lightning?"
Nava, the white man at the front, abruptly halted and looked in that direction. Kent and Nila, following behind him, also slowed down.
"It's the aura of a Lightning Ability, and it isn't weak."
After carefully sensing it, Kent, a Ninth-Order Middle-Level Mage Saint, said thoughtfully.
That thundercloud was at least several hundred kilometers away from them.
Yet because it was so enormous, they had been able to spot it.
"This 7th Floor of the Void Shattering Tower is an ice-and-snow world. There can't possibly be any Lightning Type beasts here.
"That means a Lightning Type metahuman is casting a spell over there.
"And judging by the scale of that lightning, they should be at least an Eighth-Order Grandmaster, perhaps even a Ninth-Order powerhouse."
Nava narrowed his eyes and licked his lips excitedly.
"Should we go take a look? That could be the God Child's target."
Nila, the slightly shorter Black woman among the three, asked.
"Of course."
A cold-blooded smile appeared on Nava's face. "Even if it isn't Xu Jingming, it doesn't matter. We'll kill them all."
