The Land of Lightning, Kumogakure, a village built atop towering mountains.
Clouds and mist filled the space between the peaks, while deafening thunder echoed through the air.
The building atop the tallest mountain towered into the sky, standing proudly above all the others.
It was the office building used by generations of Raikage.
"Darui, have we received word from Konoha?"
Inside the Raikage's Office, Fourth Raikage A, clad in the Raijin Robe, stood before the enormous floor-to-ceiling window, overlooking Kumogakure shrouded in clouds and mist.
"Lord Raikage, I've received a message from our spy in Konoha. The leader of the envoy we sent has been killed."
Most of Kumogakure's villagers had dark skin, and Darui was no exception. However, his white hair stood out sharply.
After a pause, Darui added, "But the person who killed our man wasn't from the Hyuga Clan. It was a young member of the Uchiha Clan named Shisui Uchiha."
As Fourth Raikage's personal bodyguard, Darui faithfully carried out his duties.
"He's dead? Good. Better to die at Uchiha hands... The Uchiha Clan's Sharingan is no weaker than the Byakugan. Anyone capable of killing the Jonin we sent must be an exceptionally talented young man."
Unexpectedly, Fourth Hokage showed no grief over the death of his own man. Instead, he was more interested in the person who had killed him.
With that, Fourth Raikage turned around to face his two personal bodyguards.

"If possible, bring that Uchiha boy back to Kumogakure in one piece," Fourth Raikage instructed his two guards.
