"Bastards, what are you doing to Kushina?!" a furious voice rang out.
Minato Namikaze stared furiously as his wife, Kushina, was held between two young men. Even he, usually so mild-mannered, couldn't contain the anger surging within him. His eyes bloodshot, he glared at Nagato and Pain.
Faced with the two powerful enemies who had just arrived, Nagato had no time to answer Minato's question. Instead, he worked faster, intent on removing the Tailed Beast Seal from Kushina as quickly as possible.
To Minato, it looked as if the other man was still groping his wife, Kushina.
"Minato, you—you're finally here."
Kushina panted heavily. She wanted to explain the truth about what the other man was doing to her, but she was too weak, and shame and anger overwhelmed her. Gasping for breath, she couldn't manage to get a complete sentence out.
To Minato, it looked as if his wife, Kushina, was being bullied into helpless, breathy gasps.
He wanted to rush over and save her at once, but he was afraid that if he made a mistake, the other man would hurt her even more.
Then he suddenly remembered that he had leverage over the other man, too.
"Look. Do you know who this is?" Minato pulled Konan out from behind him and shoved her forward.
Konan was bound with specially made ropes, unable to use the chakra within her body.
Only then did Nagato notice Konan, confirming what he had suspected.
Konan also saw Nagato across from her.
Their eyes met.
"Konan, are you all right?" Nagato asked with concern.
"Nagato..."
Konan stared at the scene before her in disbelief. From where she stood, Nagato and Kushina looked just as they did to Minato.
