In the days after Breeze and Snape finished talking, the Slytherin snakes throughout the house seemed to have been given some kind of order. The younger students no longer followed Breeze around fanatically, which made things much easier for him.

It seemed Snape still had a firm enough grip on Slytherin, though some things simply couldn't reach the ears of the Headmaster.

Elisa had already told Breeze that Snape couldn't be trusted too much. Many Pure-bloods still hadn't figured out where he stood; they only showed respect for his status as a Potions Master.

The older students had also eased up on trying to get close to Breeze. He had already outgrown those little trinkets, and there was no point in pretending to be friendly unless they brought out something worthwhile...

Arnold, who had finished talking with Bernard, was in a different situation. He was in trouble now.

"Put him in the chair and give him Veritaserum!"

Inside Quirrell's office, Arnold lay on his back nearby while the voice inside Quirrell's head kept urging him on.

"Yes, Master..."

The figure on Quirrell's head was You-Know-Who—or rather, his soul. It was parasitizing the back of Quirrell's head and controlling him.

After carrying Arnold to the chair, Quirrell soon found a small vial of Veritaserum. Veritaserum was a banned potion that the Ministry of Magic prohibited people from using privately. Even within the Ministry, it required multiple levels of approval before anyone could use it. It was a controlled substance.

Who knew where Quirrell had gotten it, but it was clearly very effective.

"Tell me, why is all of Slytherin trying to curry favor with Breeze Order!"

Quirrell wasn't stuttering at all now. He had shed his former timidity and stared intently at Arnold, the poor unfortunate.
