Black Market and Trap
Dragon Tooth City's black market was located in the liveliest town outside the city. The town was so large that it was not even inferior to Bristle-Wolf City, and there was a huge Temple Alliance church within it as well.
The entrance to the black market was near the church, and it was also the entrance to a tavern. After descending through the narrow entryway, the space gradually grew brighter and more spacious.
Landen had not expected that beneath a street, there would be another street laid out exactly the same as the one aboveground. There were no pillars here, nor were there any beams overhead, only large numbers of magic patterns and magic arrays.
The underground space maintained a brightness similar to that aboveground. Aside from the fixed shops, which gave off bright light, every stall owner at the street stalls placed a Magic Pattern Plate with a faint glow in front of them.
The black market opened a whole new door for Landen, who loved browsing streets. Landen began sweeping through stalls and exploring shops one by one, until he finally arrived at a magical materials shop. Orcs, Beastmen, Savages, and even members of the Devil Race could be seen, but Landen did not see any centaurs. With this, Landen finally confirmed it seemed centaurs truly did belong to the relatively rare category.
After leaving the shop, a slave trader not far away began hawking his wares, drawing a crowd of people around the stall. "Everyone, these are all Heretics, ranging from Mage Apprentices to Intermediate Mages. As long as they're not in the Imperial Capital, the Temple Alliance won't care anywhere else!"
