In the early hours of the 33rd, with Two Suns still two hours from rising, Dugan Blue Dragon followed the mercenary leader Emmanuel Joe to a courtyard beside a temple near Dragon Terrace Mountain, watching the compound from afar.

"Are you sure this is the meeting place for the dark mages?" Dugan asked the mercenary beside him. "This is right next to the Temple, and there's even a Dragon Perch in that courtyard!"

Just before this, the mercenaries and Dugan had raided the lairs of at least three Beastmen thieves and one Junior Mage. The Gold Coins, Magic Pattern equipment, potions, and the bounties on the thieves themselves were enough to satisfy every knight and cavalryman who had taken part in the operation.

For Emmanuel, however, the most important thing was that he had rescued a mage apprentice who had gone missing in the outer city district years ago. In the future, his own team would have a pharmacist.
