"The only use I could think of for those remains was for you to receive the inheritance and become a demigod," Landen explained. "But if that happened, you'd still have to answer Red Dragon Rock's questions afterward. Better to tell them now!"

"Mhm." Gleia nodded.

In truth, over the past several thousand years, countless dragons had become demigods or legends. Many had found inheritances from who knew where; once they ascended, they ascended. Red Dragon Rock might ask about it, but they could not truly pursue the matter.
