After the main temple in the Forest Palace's New District was nearly complete, Landen brought everyone inside for a tour, along with Ernst.
"What a marvelous building! When the Forest Palace was built, I was studying at the Tower of Purity and missed all the excitement," Saranir said with a sigh as she walked through the temple. "Now that I've witnessed this temple's completion, I can finally put that regret behind me."
Hearing the legendary Elf's wistful remark, a male Elf beside her smiled and said, "Aunt Saranir, you might not know this, but I helped build the palace back then, too. We didn't have Magic Furnaces at the time, and just growing the trees that formed the outer walls took us more than ten years."
The speaker was Thranduil Silver Moon, a junior member of Halcala and Saranir's family. As the representative of the Elven legends, he had been left at the palace by the World Tree Queen, Anhalais Oak, to help Halcala break through that morning.
