A large group of black mid-level rats was trapped by a lattice of green branches. Some of these freshly grown plants had pierced the rats' skin. In a pit at the center of the swarm, the high-level Magic Rat, completely wrapped in Magic Vines, let out a terrifying cry. Dozens of mid-level Magic Rats that had escaped the green mist rushed toward the pit at the sound.
The rats that leaped into the pit were helpless against the thick vines. The moment they dared to bite a Magic Vine, they were bound up too.
Once every rat still able to move had jumped into the pit, the high-level Magic Rat let out an unwilling shriek. Then, the Magic Patterns covering its body sprayed a highly corrosive liquid, while it called out in an extremely low but piercing voice.
