Honnier found paper and a pen in her tent and sketched the strange cargo she had seen during the day.

Several Beastmen had lifted the tarpaulin, and Honnier discovered that the largest thing was a battering ram. Yet beside it stood several black, barrel-shaped objects more than a meter thick and over three meters long.

Honnier could find no trace of either Humans or Beastmen on those objects, and an unsettling thought rose in her heart.

"Honnier? You called for us?" As the tent flap was lifted, several Intermediate Knights filed in, followed by several Junior Mages.

"Yes." Honnier smiled and handed out some Magic Potion Wine to those before her.

The people in this tent were the entirety of the local Human Race's elite. Honnier understood that once those three high platforms were completed, she would lead them to their deaths in Iowa Valley.

"Everyone, I'll be frank," the female knight said solemnly after watching them drink the wine. "I'm afraid we don't have much time left. Within ten days, the Royal Court will launch the decisive battle against Gallop Plains."

Some of the knights before Honnier nodded, while others remained silent. This was something they had known all along.

"What I want to discuss today is the terrain of Iowa Valley." Seeing no reaction from the crowd, Honnier clasped her hands behind her back, took a piece of animal hide from her Space Ring, and unfolded it to reveal an exceedingly detailed map of the valley.

Everyone's eyes gathered on the hide, searching for some clue—or rather, a hiding place that would escape notice.
