About twenty kilometers north of East Pillar Mountain, the gently rolling forest suddenly grew rugged. Several mountains, each over a hundred meters tall, surrounded a Sky Pit. From above, almost no trees could be seen inside it.
Within the Sky Pit, tunnels and caves crisscrossed one another. Deep inside, terrifying sounds could still be heard.
On the last day of February, everything in the Sky Pit remained as it had for thousands of years—until, in a cave about twenty meters below the bottom, countless spatial elements gathered beside a construct glowing with magical light, forming a spatial rift.
"Welcome to Magic Furnace Room No. 144·514·6478·0047." Landen was the first to step through the rift. He watched Klein and Louis cheerfully follow him through the Teleportation Portal, then said on a whim, "Gentlemen, starting today, we won't have to search for the locations of Magic Furnace ruins. We can just find them by their numbers!"
