Most of this world of eternal twilight was astonishingly barren. Several indigo seas divided continents covered in deserts and jagged hills, with only a scant few miraculous places supporting sparse vegetation.
The Shrines of Lizul stood upon a raised plateau, bathed in hazy purple light. It was a magnificent complex of ancient structures, its symmetrical spirals and rotating halos echoing the twilight-shrouded sky. Tens of millions of javelin-like purple crystal clusters jutted diagonally between the temple's grand walls, while the resonant hum of matrix harmonics drifted through heaven and earth, evoking an unreal sense of serene distance and perfect harmony.
Standing beneath the Shrines of Lizul, even the most restless and anxious heart would find unprecedented peace. This was a sanctuary of the Nerazim, a place where Dark Templars meditated and trained, learning to subdue the Void through willpower.
This was not Augustus's first visit to Shakuras, but he had only ever met Tassadar in the Nerazim capital of Talmathros. He had never traveled somewhere this remote.

Augustus stood in the circular courtyard of the Shrines of Lizul, where gentle melodies echoed. Beneath the dim, hazy twilight, distant Mount Naszar had been reduced to an invisible blue-violet speck of light—the dazzling radiance of crystal veins covering its foothills and summit.
