The Wolf Strikers, each over five meters tall, stood like giants, spreading their fields to temporarily block the attacks coming from the Star Sea Alliance. But while these Negative Energy fields were invincible defensively, they consumed enormous amounts of energy. Even Wolf Strikers equipped with miniaturized Dark Matter furnaces could not maintain such a state for long.

But the Wolf Strikers were not fighting alone. More than five thousand intelligent Zerg had arrived at the ceremony site earlier. They had now completed their armored state and charged toward the Alliance soldiers.

The so-called intelligent Zerg recognized by the Star Sea Alliance were merely Zerg bodies carrying Intellect consciousnesses. They had never been naturally grown creatures. Fused from numerous superior genes, they had originally been powerful war machines. With the addition of Exoskeleton Armor, they became even more formidable.

The Zerg bodies possessed astonishing agility and tremendous sprinting speed. Their humanoid structure also granted them exceptional flexibility. Their nimbleness was no less than that of spider war-bugs, while their size and armored state gave them strength far beyond the spindly spider war-bugs.

The polymer blades that had grown around their limb joints made that strength even more lethal, capable of shattering Alliance soldiers' defensive armor head-on.

Compared with the Zerg's brutal aesthetics, the mounted attachments on the Alliance soldiers' armor made it clear that their advantage lay more in their powerful long-range firepower.
