Over the years, Rowan had forged closer ties with this universe through more than a thousand extraterritorial bases. Combined with the harvesting of spiritual entities from the Star Sea Alliance, this two-pronged approach had rapidly increased his strength.
Correspondingly, the Zerg had also grown vastly stronger. What they possessed was far more than what they had revealed here in the Origin Star System.
Thus, Rowan had long since prepared a plan for the energy supply system of the new operations center. When the time came, it certainly would not hold them back.
The reason Rowan had gone to the trouble of gathering most of the Star Gates together was naturally because doing so brought enormous benefits. Even though the new operations center with one hundred thousand Star Gates had yet to be completed, the advantages of clustering were already evident from the current center, which possessed only ten thousand Star Gates.
A colossal energy beam, its diameter comparable to that of a planet, crossed the border from afar and stretched through the void. The golden energy gave off a warm, comforting glow. It was the origin of all things, the radiance of life.
At the center of the cross-domain Star Gate, which was several times larger than an ordinary Star Gate, the starry sky became illusory as Zerg troops continuously flew out. Since this was in space, the basic units deployed here were Ancient Class. Smaller combat units were all carried by Ancient Class units.
Ordinary Star Gates in varying numbers surrounded the cross-domain Star Gate. The Ancient Class units emerging from it did not delay in the slightest, entering those ordinary Star Gates in an orderly fashion according to their preassigned formations.
They would pass through these Star Gates to secondary operations centers, or head directly to the front
